  • ONEOK, Inc. (OKE) to Acquire Magellan Midstream Partners; OKE and Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P. (NYSE: MMP) ("Magellan") today announced that they have executed a definitive merger agreement under which ONEOK will acquire all outstanding units of Magellan in a cash-and-stock transaction valued at approximately $18.8 billion including assumed debt, resulting in a combined company with a total enterprise value of $60.0 billion.

  • The Home Depot, Inc. (HD) Announces First Quarter Fiscal 2023 Results; HD reports GAAP EPS of $3.82, beating analyst estimates by $0.03 but decreasing 6.6% year-over-year. Revenue decreased 4.1% to $37.3 billion, which was $1.05 billion less than expected. For FY2023 Management guides sales and comparable sales to decline between 2% and 5% compared to fiscal 2022 and diluted earnings-per-share-percent-decline between 7% and 13% compared to fiscal 2022.



May 17, 2023


  • Target Corporation (TGT) Reports First Quarter Earnings; TGT reports first quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $2.05, 6.2% below last year's result but $0.29 more than expected. Revenue grew 0.6% to $25.32 billion, topping estimates by $40 million. Management guides Adjusted EPS in the range of $1.30 to $1.70 for Q2 and $7.75 to $8.85 for FY2023.


  • Cisco Systems, Inc. (CSCO) Reports Third Quarter Earnings; CSCO reports Non-GAAP EPS of $1.00, beating analyst estimates by $0.03 and increasing 15% year-over-year. Revenue grew 13.5% to $14.57 billion, topping estimates by $210 million. Management guides for FY 2023 10% to 10.5% growth year over year for Revenue and guides GAAP EPS from $2.93 to $2.98, Non-GAAP EPS from $3.80 to $3.82.

  • Flowers Foods, Inc. (FLO) Reports First Quarter 2023 Results; FLO reports first quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $0.38, 13.6% below last year's result and in line with estimates. Revenue of $1.53 billion misses analyst estimates by $20 million but increased 6.3% versus the same quarter last year. For FY 2023 Management guides sales in the range of approximately $5.086 billion to $5.141 billion representing an increase of approximately 5.8% to 7.0% compared to the prior year period and Adjusted EPS in the range of approximately $1.15 to $1.25.


  • Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) was awarded a ~$750.55M firm-fixed-price contract for Lot 21 Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile B-2 missiles with containers, tooling and test equipment, and spares. The Missile and Fire Control division was also awarded ~$443.76M firm-fixed-price contract for Lot 7 of Long-Range Anti-Ship Missile, spares, Dummy Air Training Missiles and tooling and test equipment.

  • LyondellBasell Industries N.V. (LYB) Increases Quarterly Dividend; LYB announced its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly dividend of $1.25 per share, representing a 5 percent increase over the company's first quarter 2023 dividend. The dividend will be paid June 6, 2023 to shareholders of record May 30, 2023, with an ex-dividend date of May 26, 2023.
