- NCC AB (NCC) and Jernhusen initiate major cooperation – development of first project in RegionCity; NCC and Jernhusen have entered a joint venture to develop Park Central, the first phase of the RegionCity venture in Gothenburg. The project is to be constructed directly adjacent to Gothenburg Central Station and’s the West Link’s (Västlänken) Centralen station, and will comprise approximately 40,000 square meters of office space, retail and service on its completion in 2026.
- Pfizer Inc. (PFE) to Acquire Arena Pharmaceuticals; PFE and Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (ARNA) announced that the companies have entered into a definitive agreement under which Pfizer will acquire Arena. Under the terms of the agreement, Pfizer will acquire all the outstanding shares of Arena for $100 per share in an all-cash transaction for a total equity value of approximately $6.7 billion. The boards of directors of both companies have unanimously approved the transaction.
- Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (BMY) Announces Dividend Increase and Additional $15 Billion Share Repurchase Authorization; BMY has declared a quarterly dividend of fifty-four cents ($0.54) per share on the $.10 par value common stock of the company. This amount represents a 10.2% increase in the quarterly dividend over last year’s quarterly rate of forty-nine cents ($0.49) per share. BMY also authorized the repurchase of an additional $15 billion of the company’s common stock. With this increase, the company’s total outstanding share repurchase authorization is approximately $15.2 billion.
- Raytheon Technologies Corporation (RTX) is awarded a $145.28M cost-plus-incentive-fee modification (P00002) to a previously awarded contract (N0001921C0068).

- Kesko Corporation’s sales grew in November; KESKO Group's sales totalled €983.0 million in November 2021, representing an increase of 12.4% on the previous year. In comparable terms, sales grew by 11.6%.
- NCC AB (NCC) to construct office building for KLP in Trondheim; NCC is to construct the Teknostallen office building of more than 46,000 square meters in central Trondheim on behalf of KLP Eiendom AS. The assignment is scheduled to be completed in 2025 and the order value amounts nearly SEK 900 million.
- Dominion Energy, Inc. (D) Raises Dividend; D approved a 2022 dividend of $2.67 per share of common stock, a 6% increase above the 2021 dividend rate of $2.52 per share. Subject to board declaration in January, the first quarterly dividend of 66.75 cents per share will be payable in March 2022.
- Main Street Capital Corporation (MAIN) Announces Follow-On Investment; MAIN, along with its co-investor, made the follow-on investment in Hawk Ridge Systems, LLC. MAIN's portion of the follow-on investment consists of an additional $16.4 million first lien, senior secured term debt investment.
- Realty Income Corporation (O) Declared Monthly Dividend Increase; O announced its Board of Directors has declared an increase in the company's common stock monthly cash dividend to $0.2465 per share from $0.246 per share. The dividend is payable on January 14, 2022 to shareholders of record as of January 3, 2022. This is the 114th dividend increase since Realty Income's listing on the NYSE in 1994. The ex-dividend date for January's dividend is December 31, 2021.
December 16, 2021
- Tele2 AB (TEL2) wins Latvian 5G frequencies; TEL2 has secured crucial spectrum in the Latvian 700 MHz spectrum auction. The 5G rollout will be done on a standalone basis as the previously announced network sharing agreement with Bite did not get full regulatory approval.
- Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) is awarded a ~$286.47M modification to previously awarded Phase II contract HQ0835-21-C-0002 under a Foreign Military Sales (or FMS) case to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (or KSA).
- Main Street Capital Corporation (MAIN) Announces New Portfolio Investment; MAIN announce that it recently completed a new portfolio investment to provide growth capital financing and facilitate the minority recapitalization of Johnson Downie, LLC. MAIN funding $14.6 million in a combination of first-lien, senior secured term debt and a direct minority equity investment.

- NCC AB (NCC) to expand Aalto University in Finland; NCC has been commissioned by Aalto University to construct two buildings on the university campus area in Otaniemi, Espoo. The order value is approximately SEK 340 million.
