- The Kraft Heinz Company (KHC) Completes Sale of Natural Cheese Business; KHC announced that it has completed the sale of certain assets in its global cheese business and the license of certain trademarks to an affiliate of Groupe Lactalis for total consideration of approximately $3.3 billion, including cash consideration of approximately $3.2 billion.
- Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) has been awarded a $124.9M firm-fixed-price contract modification to previously awarded contract FA8682-21-C-0004 for Lot Four and Five of Long Range Anti-Ship Missiles and tooling and test equipment.
- Archer-Daniels-Midland Company (ADM) Completes Acquisition of Sojaprotein; ADM announced today that it has completed its acquisition of Sojaprotein, a leading European provider of non-GMO soy ingredients. The addition represents a significant expansion of ADM’s global alternative protein capabilities and its ability to meet growing demand for plant-based foods and beverages.

- General Mills, Inc. (GIS) Completes Sale of European Yoplait Operations; GIS announced that it has completed the sale of its 51 percent controlling interest in its European Yoplait operations. As part of the transaction with Sodiaal, which was initially announced on March 23, 2021, General Mills acquired full ownership of the Canadian Yoplait business. General Mills will also now operate with a reduced royalty rate for use of the Yoplait and Liberté brands in the United States and Canada.
- Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. (WBA) Acquires Remaining Stake in German GEHE-Alliance Healthcare Joint Venture From McKesson; WBA McKesson Corporation (NYSE: MCK) have today reached an agreement for WBA to acquire the remaining 30% share of their GEHE Pharma Handel (GEHE) and Alliance Healthcare Deutschland (AHD) joint venture. Following this transaction, WBA will become the 100% owner of the combined GEHE and Alliance Healthcare businesses in Germany.
- Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) is awarded a ~$121M modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost reimbursable contract (N6833518C0681).
- ERAPSCO and Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) are awarded firm-fixed-price modifications to a previously awarded ID/IQ contract (N0001919D0012).
- Raytheon Technologies Corporation (RTX) and Whitney Military Engines are awarded an undefinitized $447.6M not-to-exceed modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-incentive-fee, fixed-price incentive, cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost reimbursable contract (N0001921C0011).
- Main Street Capital Corporation (MAIN) Announces New Portfolio Investment; MAIN is pleased to announce that it recently completed a new portfolio investment to facilitate the minority recapitalization of DMA Sales, LLC.
- The Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS) reports fourth quarter and 2021 results; BNS reports Q4 Non-GAAP EPS of C$2.10, a 44.83% increase from last year and C$0.20 ahead of expectations. Revenue grew 2.5% to C$7.69 billion, which was C$260 million below estimates. BNS declares C$1.00 quarterly dividend, 11.1% increase from prior dividend of C$0.90. BNS also announced its plan to repurchase up to C$24M of its common shares representing approximately 2% of BNS's issued and outstanding common shares.
December 1, 2021
- NCC AB (NCC) to construct 78 tenant-owner apartments and an office building in Umeå; NCC and Balticgruppen are now commencing the construction of an apartment block and an office building in the new Östra Station city district in Umeå. The assignment is a partnering project and the order value is approximately SEK 480 million.
- Verizon Communications Inc. (VZ) awarded $34.6M in digital modernization contracts with U.S. Department of Energy; VZ has been awarded $34.6 million through two contract awards with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). The task orders were awarded through the federal government’s Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) contract vehicle. The win for Verizon includes voice and data services and will involve a number of DOE facilities, including their Washington, D.C. headquarters.
- Chevron Corporation (CVX) Announces $15 Billion Capital and Exploratory Budget for 2022; CVX says it plans a FY 2022 capital and exploratory spending budget of $15B, at the low end of its $15B-$17B guidance range and up more than 20% from expected 2021 levels. CVX also raises its stock buyback guidance range to $3B-$5B per year, well above prior guidance of $2B-$3B per year.
- ConocoPhillips (COP) Announces Completion of All-Cash Permian Asset Acquisition; COP announced that it has completed its acquisition of Shell Enterprises LLC’s prolific Delaware basin position for $9.5 billion in cash. After customary closing adjustments, cash paid for the acquisition is approximately $8.6 billion, with an effective date of July 1, 2021.
- Raytheon Technologies Corporation (RTX) was awarded a $273.35M firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed fee, and cost only modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-19-C-5501) to exercise options and add advanced radars detection laboratory generator support for Air and Missile Defense Radar; and Enterprise Air Surveillance Radar, integration and production support efforts.
- Royal Bank of Canada (RY) reports fourth quarter and 2021 results; RY reports fourth quarter GAAP EPS of C$2.68, a 20.2% increase from last year but C$0.11 below of estimates. Revenue increase 11.6% to C$12.38 billion, which was C$450 more than expected. RY declares C$ 1.20 quarterly dividend, 11.1% increase from prior dividend of C$ 1.08. RY also announced its intention to repurchase for cancellation up to 45M of its common shares, representing approximately 3.16% of the Bank's outstanding common shares.

- NCC AB (NCC) to construct office building in wood for Danish Building and Property Agency; NCC has signed an agreement to construct a new government office hub for the Danish Building and Property Agency in Odense, Denmark. The new office will be a six-story wooden building comprising approximately 31,000 square meters with a focus on sustainability. The order value is approximately SEK 880 million.
- WEC Energy Group, Inc. (WEC) announces plan to increase dividend by 7.4 percent; WEC announced that it is planning to raise the quarterly dividend on the company's common stock to 72.75 cents per share in the first quarter of 2022. This would represent an increase of 5 cents per share, or 7.4 percent.
- Magna International Inc. (MGA) Secures Business For Hybrid Dual-Clutch Transmission Program; MGA confirmed that it has received a Hybrid Dual-Clutch Transmission (HDT) award from Mercedes-Benz for next generation compact and mid-size vehicles, further demonstrating Magna’s continuing transformation in the electrification of mobility.
- Main Street Capital Corporation (MAIN) Announces New Portfolio Investment; MAIN is pleased to announce that it recently completed a new portfolio investment to facilitate the majority recapitalization of Verified Credentials, Inc.
- LTC Properties, Inc. (LTC) Originates $52.5 Million Unitranche Loan; LTC announced it originated a $52.5 million unitranche loan for the purchase of a 13‑property seniors housing portfolio located in North and South Carolina. The communities will be operated by an existing LTC operator. The loan provides for additional commitments of $6.1 million for capital improvements and $650,000 for working capital, for a total investment commitment of approximately $60 million. The loan bears interest at 7.25% with an IRR of 8% and matures in 4 years.
- TD Bank Group (TD) Reports Fourth Quarter and Fiscal 2021 Results; TD reports fourth quarter adjusted Non-GAAP EPS of C$2.09, a 30.6% increase from the prior year and C$0.14 ahead of expectations. Revenue decreased 7.6% to C$10.94 billion, which was C$1.04 billion above estimates. TD declares C$0.89/share quarterly dividend, 12.7% increase from prior dividend of C$0.79. TD also announced it intends to launch a Normal Course Issuer Bid permitting the purchase for cancellation of up to 50 million of its common shares, representing approximately 2.7% of TD's issued and outstanding common shares
- Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CM) Announces Fourth Quarter and Fiscal 2021 Results; CM reports fourth quarter Q4 Non-GAAP EPS of C$3.37, a growth of 21% but C$0.16 below estimates. Revenue increased 10.0% to C$5.06 billion, which was C$40 million lower than expected. CM declares C$1.61 quarterly dividend, 10.3% increase from prior dividend of C$1.46. CM also announced it intends to launch a Normal Course Issuer Bid permitting the purchase for cancellation of up to 10 million of its common shares, representing approximately 2.2% of CM's issued and outstanding common shares.

- NCC AB (NCC) to upgrade two harbors in Northern Norway; NCC is to conduct improvement work on the harbors in Hammerfest and Forsöl in Northern Norway on behalf of Hammerfest Municipality and the Norwegian Coastal Administration. The assignment involves comprehensive environmental remediation work and upgrading and is scheduled for completion in 2023. The order value is approximately SEK 345 million.
