Summer is gone, autumn has begun and it is time to report my dividend income. In August 2021 my portfolio dividend income was as follows:
My Total dividends in August are € 1,342.97 ($ 1,585.81). After tax payments, my net dividend income is € 989.52 ($ 1,168.45). In year 2020, my net dividend income in August was € 655.98 ($ 1,008.47). My portfolio's net dividend income increased by € 333.54 or 50.8% to compared the same month of last year. Compared to last year, there are three new dividend paying companies in my portfolio, such as VZ, BMY, UNM and APD, additional purchases such as KMI, OKE, GIS, GD and a nice dividend increases from ABBV. I also transferred OHI to another stockbroker and temporarily doubled my holdings on it.
This € 989.52 net passive income means I got a comfortable € 31.92 every day or € 1.33 per hour during August, no matter what I did. By the end of July, these numbers are € 51.44 per day and € 2.14 per hour.
This month's dividend increased my cumulative net dividend income € 105,858.92.
In the first eight months of the year, I have received net dividends of € 12,500.39, 69.4% of my target net passive income for this year, which is €18,000.00. At the moment, it seems that I will achieve my goal unless there are any unpleasant surprises for the rest of the year.
