  • UPM-Kymmene Corporation (UPM) Interim Report Q3 2020; UPM reports revenue of EUR 2,028 million, declining 19% year-over-year and missing estimates by $55 million. Comparable EBIT was EUR 215 million, down 37% year-over-year, but beats analyst estimates by $40 million.

 

 

  • Pfizer Inc. (PFE) Reports Third-Quarter 2020 Results; PFE reported third quarter adjusted EPS of $0.72, 4% below the prior year but $0.01 better than expected. Revenue fell 4.3% to $12.1 billion, $170 million lower than expected. Pfizer Continue to Expect to Close the Upjohn Transaction with Mylan N.V. (Mylan) in the Fourth Quarter of 2020.

  • Visa Inc. (V) Reports Fiscal Fourth Quarter and Full-Year 2020 Results; V reported fourth quarter adjusted EPS of $1.12, a 24% decline from the prior year but $0.02 ahead of estimates. Revenue was down 17% to $5.1 billion, but topped expectations by $70 million. Visa also raised its quarterly dividend by 6.7% to $0.32, giving the stock a forward yield of 0.7%. The company has now increased its dividend for the past 13 consecutive years.

  • ConocoPhillips (COP) Reports Third-Quarter 2020 Results; COP reports a third quarter adjusted EPS loss of $0.31, in-line with estimates but compares unfavorably to EPS of $0.82 in the previous year. Revenue was lower by 57% to $4.4 billion, $600 million better than expected.

 

  • Kontoor Brands, Inc. (KTB) Reports Third Quarter 2020 Results; KTB reports third quarter adjusted EPS of $1.33, a 40% improvement from the prior year and $0.75 better than expected. Revenue was down 8.6% to $583.2 million, $34.1 million above estimates. The company also reinstates its quarterly dividend of $0.40. This is a 28.6% decrease from the dividend that was distributed 3/20/2020. The stock's forward yield is 5.1%.

  • AbbVie Inc. (ABBV) Reports Third-Quarter 2020 Financial Results; ABBV reports adjusted EPS of $2.83, a 21.5% increase from the previous year and $0.06 better than expected. Revenue increased 52.1% to $12.9 billion, $190 million above what analysts had expected. The company also increased its quarterly dividend 10.2% to $1.30, giving the stock a 6.5% forward yield. The company has increased its dividend for nine consecutive years.

 

  • Altria Group, Inc. (MO) Reports 2020 Third-Quarter Results; MO reports adjusted EPS of $1.19, matching the prior year's result but topping expectations by $0.03. Revenue improved 4.8% to $5.7 billion, $140 ahead of estimates. The company also wrote down its investment in Juul to $10 billion.
