Today May 7, the Board of Directors of Baxter International Inc. announced a quarterly dividend increase of from $ 0.19 to $ 0.22 per ordinary share that’s payable July 1, 2019 to holders of record June 7, 2019. This represents a 15.79 % increase to regular quarterly dividends.
“Baxter’s increased dividend reflects the ongoing impact
of our business transformation, which is strengthening our financial position
as we pursue our mission to save and sustain lives,” said José (Joe) E.
Almeida, chairman and chief executive officer. “Our disciplined capital
allocation strategy remains focused on driving innovation for patients, growth
for the business and greater value for our investors.”
With current price $ 76.81 (today's open), this raise
brings their dividend yield to 1.15 %.
Since I own 60 shares of BAX, this will increase my
portfolio's projected annual net dividend income by $ 5.36.
This increase raises my YOC to 2.33%.
