My Total dividends in December are € 1,170.67 ($ 1,333.64). After tax payments, my net dividend income is € 868.95 ($ 989.91). In year 2017, my net dividend income in December was € 666.06. My portfolio's net dividend income increased by 30.5% to compared the same month of last year.

This month's dividend increased my cumulative net dividend income € 62,053.82.

Dividend Income 2018

My total net dividend income for 2018 reached € 13,238.08 ($ 15,741.09), so I clearly reached my target net dividend income for 2018, which was €12,200.00. Compared to last year, my net dividend income increased by 2,059.47 euros or 18.4%. I`m looking positively forward and I try to work hard to achieve my financial independence by the end of 2020.

Goals for 2019

My intention is to continue to invest € 1k regularly every month and reinvest the dividends in the shares I have chosen. With this plan, I should make one to two purchases per month and spend about 24 thousand euros a year.

2018 was an excellent year and I clearly reached my goal. However, there is still a way to go to the financial independence. For 2019, I will set the target of € 14,750.00 (net dividend income), which would mean average over € 1.2k per month. However, the exchange rate changes have a big effect on achieving this goal, as about 75 percent of my dividend income comes in other currencies than in the euro.

Thanks for visiting and successful investments in 2019 for everyone!

  1. Impressive numbers! Could you clarify why you chose that specific target of 14 750€ for 2019 and not 15 000€ for example? Would be a nice, round, number to reach :D

Thanks! Yeah, it would be a nice round number :), but such a big increase in dividend income doesn't seem realistic, at least not at the moment.

      Kiitos vierailusta!

  5. Congratulations to your achievement. You're a big inspiration for me! I like your consistent updates and buys.

Considering your average growth rate, you'll most likely crush your conservative annual dividend target of 11%+. I'll keep my fingers crossed!

    1. Hej Frihetsfonden och tack! Ja jag gjorde och publicerade också en sammanfattning av levnadskostnaderna kvartalsvis år 2017, men förra året hittade jag tyvärr inte längre tid att skriva detta!
