Wednesday, December 3rd, the Board of Directors of Enbridge Inc.
(ENB) announced
a quarterly dividend increase from C$0.9425 to C$0.97 per share,
representing a 2.92% rise. The dividend is payable on March 1, 2026,
to shareholders of record as of February 17, 2026.
At the current price of C$67.26 (yesterday's close), this increase will raise RY's dividend yield to 5.77%.

The increase was in line with the trend of recent years, so it was in line with my expectations.
This recent dividend increase marks the ninth consecutive raise I've received from Enbridge since I initiated my first shares in May 2017. Over that time, ENB's quarterly dividend has risen moderately from $0.61 to $0.97 per share, representing a total increase of 59.0%.
The moment of writing, ENB’s weight of my portfolio is about 1.22% and its share of future annual dividend income is approximately 1.71%.
Following this increase, my yield on cost is 8.42%.
