In this review, I will make a summary of important and interesting news and events over the last week related to my portfolio holdings. Also, I will put together some interesting articles from other websites that caught my attention during the past week.
On Tuesday, November 11th, Aflac Incorporated (AFL) announced that its Board of Directors approved a quarterly dividend increase from $0.58 to $0.61 per share. The dividend is payable on March 2, 2026, to shareholders of record as of February 18, 2026. This marks a 5.17% increase over the previous quarterly dividend.
At the current price of $115.10 (today's open), this increase will raise AFL's dividend yield to 2.12%.
On Wednesday, November 5th, Emerson Electric Co. (EMR) announced that its Board of Directors approved a quarterly dividend increase from $0.5275 to $0.555 per share. The dividend is payable on December 10, 2025, to shareholders of record as of November 14, 2025. This marks a 5.21% increase over the previous quarterly dividend.
At the current price of $130.62 (today's open), this increase will raise EMR's dividend yield to 1.67%.

November 4th, Main Street Capital Corporation (MAIN) announced
that its Board of Directors approved a monthly dividend increase from
$0.255 to $0.26 per share. The dividend will be payable on January
15, 2026, to shareholders of record as of January 8, 2026. This marks
a 1.96% increase over the previous monthly dividend and a 4.0%
increase from the regular monthly dividends paid in the first quarter
of 2025.
In addition, the Board declared a supplemental cash
dividend of $0.30 per share, payable in December 2025, further
underscoring Main Street’s consistent track record of delivering
value to shareholders.
At the current price of $58.70 (yesterday's close), this increase will raise MAIN's dividend yield to 5.32%.
