The second month of 2024 is over, soon spring is here and it's time to declare my dividend income. In February 2024, my portfolio's dividend income was as follows:
My Total dividends in February are €1,595.80 ($1,734.07). After taxes, my net dividend income is €1,183.56 ($1,282.80). In year 2023 my net dividend income in February was €1,066.40 ($1,147.21). My portfolio's net dividend income increased by €117.16 or 11.0% to compared the same month of previous year. Compared to the previous year, there have been some changes to the dividend income of February: Two new dividend payers have joined to the portfolio namely PG and JGPI as well as MED has left it. Additional purchase to portfolio VZ, MAIN and O. Compared to a year ago, some holdings also included nice dividend increases like CVS, WRK and UNM, but unfortunately also dividend cut from SDIV.
This net passive income of €1,183.56 means that I received a reasonable €40.81 every day or €1.70 per every hour during February, no matter what I did. After two months, these numbers are €45.08 per day and €1.88 per hour.
This month's dividend increased my cumulative net dividend income € 159,072.92.
Net income / expenditure
- Net passive income for February was €1,183.56, for the first two months it totals €2,705.05
- Total expenditure for February was €981.58, for the first two months it totals €2,370.84
- The result for February was €201.98, for the first two months it totals €334.21
I have now collected 11.5% of my target net passive income for this year, which is €23,500.00.
