- I closed my Medifast, Inc. (MED) position by selling 40shares at $64.37 per share plus commission.
Following the announcement in December to stop distributing the quarterly cash dividend, I made the decision to divest my shareholding in the company. As a result of this, my net dividend income for the year will drop by $196.68.

- UPM-Kymmene Corporation (UPM) completed the sale of its Steyrermühl site to HEINZEL GROUP
- NCC AB (NCC) to build Diamanten in Bjurholm Municipality; In collaboration with Bjurholm Municipality, NCC is to construct Diamanten, a new building that will combine operations including a retirement home and preschool in Bjurholm. The project is a turnkey contract in partnering form with an order value of approximately SEK 200 million.
January 3, 2024
- L3Harris Technologies, Inc. (LHX) was awarded a $479M indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-price contract with seven one-year ordering periods.
- Main Street Capital (MAIN) Announces Follow-On Investment; MAIN has made a follow-on investment in Johnson Downie Opco, an existing portfolio company that specializes in retained, exclusive partner-level recruiting engagements for law firms globally. MAIN's portion of the follow-on investment consists of an additional $14.9 million first lien, senior secured term debt investment and a $0.5 million direct equity investment.
January 4, 2024
- Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. (WBA) Reports Fiscal 2024 First Quarter Results; WBA reports Non-GAAP EPS of $0.66, beating analyst estimates by $0.02 but decreasing 43.1% year-over-year. Revenue of $36.71 billion beats analyst estimates by $1.6 billion and increased 10.0% versus the same quarter last year. Management maintaining fiscal 2024 adjusted EPS guidance of $3.20 to $3.50 and announcing a 48 percent reduction in quarterly dividend payment to $0.25 per share.
- Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) has secured a $1.15 billion cost-plus-incentive-fee, fixed-price-incentive-fee modification against a previously awarded contract.
- Medical Properties Trust, Inc. (MPW) Provides Update on Steward Health Care; MPW said Thursday that it's planning to beef up its efforts to recover uncollected rents and outstanding loan obligations from one of its largest hospital tenants, Steward Health Care System.
