The second month of 2023 is over, spring is here and it's time to declare my dividend income. In February 2023, my portfolio's dividend income was as follows:
My Total dividends in February are €1,440.67 ($1,552.65). After taxes, my net dividend income is €1,066.42 ($1,149.41). In year 2022, my net dividend income in February was €1,013.38 ($1,144.17). My portfolio's net dividend income increased by €53.04 or 5.23% to compared the same month of previous year. Compared to the previous year, there have been some changes to the dividend income of February: Three new dividend payers have joined to the portfolio, namely MED, ALLY and POW.TO, additional purchase such VZ, TXN, APD and MAIN. Compared to a year ago, the holdings also included some solid dividend increases like CVS, WRK and UNM but unfortunately also dividend cut from T and SDIV.
This net passive income of €1,066.42 means that I received a reasonable €38.09 every day or €1.57 per every hour during February, no matter what I did. After two months, these numbers are €43.34 per day and €1.81 per hour.
This month's dividend increased my cumulative net dividend income € 136,872.06.
Net income / expenditure
- Net passive income for February was €1,066.42, for the first two months it totals €2,557.17
- Total expenditure for February was €1,241.60, for the first two months it totals €2,444.86
- The result for February was €-175.18, for the first two months it totals €112.31
I have now collected 11.4% of my target net passive income for this year, which is € 22,500.00.
