- I purchased 25 shares of Verizon Communications Inc. (VZ) at $ 44.60 per share plus commission.
At today's exchange rate that purchase 25 shares of VZ will increase € 46.74 of my expected annual net dividend income. After this acquisition, VZ’s weight of my portfolio is about 1.14% and its share of future annual dividend income is approximately 1.69%.

- Nordea Bank Abp (NDA) Reports Second Quarter Results; NDA reports second quarter EPS of € 0.28, beating estimates by € 0.04 and 12% growth year-over-year. Operating profit rose to EUR 1 361 million from EUR 1 338 million a year earlier. Analyst predicted that the operating profit would fall to EUR 1 198 million. NDA keeps the full-year 2022 outlook unchanged: RoE above 11% and a cost-to-income ratio of 49–50%.
- Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) is awarded a not-to-exceed $224.88M undefinitized modification (P00014) to a previously awarded, fixed-price incentive (firm-target), advanced acquisition contract (N0001920C0009).
- General Dynamics Corporation’s (GD) Information Technology Awarded Europe-Wide IT and Enterprise Network Contract; GD’s business unit General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) received the Europe-Wide Information Technology and Enterprise Network (EITEN) contract by the 764th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The single-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract (IDIQ) has a total ceiling of $908 million with a five-year base period and a three-year option.

- Tele2 AB (TEL2) Interim Report Second Quarter 2022; TEL2 reports earnings per share SEK 1.23, a 37.9% decrease year-over-year. Revenue grew 3.77% to SEK 6.820 million, topping estimates by SEK 88 million.
- NCC AB (NCC) Reports Second Quarter Results; NCC reports earnings per share SEK 3.59, a 0.55% decrease year-over-year. Revenue grew 9.85% to SEK 14,001 million, topping estimates by SEK 668 million. Order intake was SEK 12,763 million. The analysts' average forecast was SEK 13,113 million.
- Verizon Communications Inc. (VZ) awarded over $400M modernization contract with FBI; VZ announced an over $400 million Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) task order with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to help the agency meet increasing demands for data bandwidth around the globe successfully.
- Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) Reports Q2 2022 Results; JNJ reports second quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $2.59, a 4.4% increase year-over-year and $0.04 ahead of estimates. Revenue grew 3.0% to $24 billion, topping estimates by $180 million. For FY2022 management expects adjusted EPS of $10.00-$10.10 from prior guidance of $10.15-$10.35, revenue of $93.3B-$94.3B from prior guidance of $94.8B-$95.8B.
- Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) Reports Second Quarter 2022 Financial Results; LMT reports second quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $6.32, a 1.56% decline from last year and $0.07 below of estimates. Revenue declined 9.3% to $15.45 billion, missing estimates $570 million. FY2022 management lowed it's outlook and now expects diluted EPS approximately of $ $21.55 vs. prior view approximately of $26, Net sales about of $65.25B vs. prior outlook of $66B.
- The Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD) Comments on Expected Impact of the Charles Schwab Corporation's Second Quarter Earnings; TD announced that it's expecting to earn C$268M of reported equity in net income of an investment in Charles Schwab for its fiscal Q3. That compares with C$224M in earnings from its stake in Charles Schwab during its second quarter.

- Telia Company (TELIA) Interim Report January-June 2022; TELIA reports earnings per share SEK 0.37, an 81% decrease year-over-year and in line with expectations. Revenue grew 1.9% to SEK 22.293 million, topping estimates by SEK 11 million. TELIA maintains outlook for 2022 unchanged.
- Kinder Morgan, Inc. (KMI) Reports Q2 2022 Results; KMI reports second quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $0.27, 17% above last year's result and $0.01 higher than expected. Revenue improved 63.5% to $5.15 billion, $1.34 billion higher than expected. KMI budgeted to generate net income attributable to KMI of $2.5B.
- AbbVie Inc. (ABBV) and iSTAR Medical Announce Strategic Alliance for the Treatment of Glaucoma; ABBV announced a strategic transaction to further develop and commercialize iSTAR Medical's MINIject® device, a minimally invasive glaucoma surgical (MIGS) device for patients with glaucoma. Deal terms include a $60M upfront payment to iSTAR Medical.
- General Dynamics Corporation (GD) Mission Systems Awarded $272.9 Million Contract for US and UK Submarine Fire Control Systems; GD’s Mission Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), announced today it was awarded a U.S. Navy contract to support development, production and installation of fire control systems for the Columbia- and Dreadnought-classes of ballistic missile submarines. The contract as awarded has a value of $272.9 million over the next six years.
- Nutrien Ltd. (NTR) to Acquire Brazilian Ag Retailer Casa do Adubo; NTR announced to acquire Brazilian company Casa do Adubo, including 39 retail locations and 10 distribution centers, a move it said will support its retail growth strategy in the country; financial terms were not disclosed.

- UPM-Kymmene Corporation (UPM) Reports Second Quarter Results; UPM reports Comparable EPS of €0.60, beating analyst estimates by $0.04 and increasing 33.3% year-over-year. Revenue increased 7% to €2.56 billion, which was €279 million below estimates. UPM’s comparable EBIT is expected to increase in 2022 from 2021, and in H2 2022 from H2 2021.
- AT&T Inc. (T) Reports Second-Quarter Results; T reports Non-GAAP EPS of $0.65, beating analyst estimates by $0.03 and increasing 1.56% year-over-year. Revenue of $29.6 billion beats analyst estimates by $130 million but decreased 17.2% versus the same quarter last year. The management is increasing Mobility service revenue guidance to 4.5-5% growth for the full year and also decreasing full-year free cash flow guidance to the $14 billion range.
- Philip Morris International Inc. (PM) Reports 2022 Second-Quarter and First-Half Results; PM reports second quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $1.48, a decline of 6.3% year-over-year but $0.23 ahead of estimates. Revenue increased 3.2% to $7.83 billion, which was $1.07 billion more than expected. Management expects FY2022 Diluted EPS of $5.73 to $5.88 and Pro Forma Adjusted Diluted EPS of $5.23 to $5.34, Representing Currency-Neutral Growth of 10% to 12% from prior guidance of $5.35-$5.46.
- Union Pacific Corporation (UNP) Reports Second Quarter 2022 Results; UNP reports GAAP EPS of $2.93, a 7.72% increase from the previous year and $0.08 higher than expected. Revenue grew 14% to $6.27 billion, topping estimates $160 million.

- Stabilisation package for Fortum Corporation’s (FORTUM) subsidiary Uniper agreed with the German government; The German State will take a 30% equity stake in Uniper SE by subscribing approximately 157 million new ordinary registered shares at nominal value of EUR 1.70 per share against cash consideration of approximately EUR 267 million. The German government has committed to make available further capital of up to EUR 7.7 billion against issuance of mandatory convertible instruments, as and if needed, to address potential losses and The German state-owned KfW bank will provide Uniper with an additional EUR 7 billion in liquidity support through an increase of its existing credit facility from the current EUR 2 billion to EUR 9 billion. As a consequence of the above agreed measures, FORTUM’s current stake of approximately 80% in Uniper will be diluted to 56% on the initial equity injection, at which point Fortum will remain Uniper’s majority shareholder and will continue to consolidate Uniper as a subsidiary.
- Verizon Communications Inc. (VZ) reports 2Q and first-half 2022 results; VZ reports second quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $1.31, a decline of 5.76% year-over-year and $0.01 lower of estimates. Revenue was in line with expectations and at the same level as a year ago. Management expects FY2022 adjusted EPS of $5.10-5.25, an update from prior guidance for adjusted EPS of $5.40-5.55 and service and other revenue growth of minus 1% to flat, an update from prior guidance for reported service and other revenue growth to be approximately flat.
- NextEra Energy, Inc. (NEE) reports second-quarter 2022 financial results; NEE reports Non-GAAP EPS of $0.81, beating analyst estimates by $0.05 and increased 14.1% year-over-year. Revenue of $5.18 billion misses analyst estimates by $80 million even increased 31.8% versus the same quarter last year. For FY 2022 NEE continues to expect adjusted EPS in the range of $2.80 to $2.90 vs. prior outlook of $2.75 to $2.85. NEE also continues to expect to grow its dividends per share at an approximately 10% rate per year through at least 2024, off a 2022 base.
