Dividend Income - June 2022

June is over, July is more than halfway through and the second half of the year is underway. In June 2022 my portfolio dividend income was as follows:

My Total dividends in June are € 2,631.03 ($ 2,779.90). After taxes, my net dividend income is € 1,948.07 ($ 2,058.33). In year 2021, my net dividend income in June was € 1,456.17 ($ 1,757.32). My portfolio's net dividend income increased by € 491.90 or 33.8% to compared the same month of previous year. Compared to the previous year, there have been some changes to the dividend income of June: the most significant change is KESKO's dividend payment schedule which changed from semi-annual to quarterly, four new dividend payers have joined to the portfolio, namely NEE, AMGN, MRU.TO and CNR.TO besides MMM and IPL.TO has left it. Additional purchases such as BIPC, VTRS, LMT and MFC.TO as well some nice dividend increases like AVANCE.OL, TGT, TRNT, UPS and TROW. Recent exchange rate developments have also had a positive impact on the portfolio's dividend income in euro.

This net passive income of € 1,948.07 means that I received a nice € 64.94 every day or € 2.71 per every hour during June, no matter what I did. For the first half of the year, the corresponding amounts are €69.36 per day and €2.89 per hour.

This month's dividend increased my cumulative net dividend income € 124,372.62.

Net income / expenditure

  • Net passive income for June was € 1,948.07, year total for to date € 12,553.45

  • Total expenditure for June was € 1,349.58, year total for to date € 7,820.76

  • The result for June was € 598.49, year total for to date € 4,732.69

I have now collected 62.8% of my target net passive income for this year, which is € 20,000.00. After six months, it looks like I will exceed my target by a clear margin, but time will tell what will happen in the world over the next few months.

Full Disclosure: Long on above mentioned stocks except MMM and IPL.TO

  1. Congrats Hawk! Is the euro dollar rate changing the buys you normally do? Will you invest more in Canada or Europe due to that circumstance? Regards.

    1. Hi, thank you! Yes the strengthening of the dollar has been on my mind, but it hasn't really affected my purchases yet. When dividends come into the account in dollars, they can be used for purchases without currency exchange.

      Thanks for visiting,
