- The Home Depot Announces Agreement to Acquire HD Supply Holdings, Inc.; HD announced that it purchasing HD Supply Holdings (HDS) for $56 per share in cash for a total value of approximately $8 billion. The deal is expected to close by the end of January 2021.
- Pfizer Completes Transaction to Combine Its Upjohn Business with Mylan; PFE completes its spinoff of its Upjohn Business and combines it with Mylan N.V. (MYL) to form Viatris Inc.

- Fortum Corporation (FORTUM) Reports Third Quarter 2020 Results; FORTUM reports third quarter EPS of € 0.23, 15% better than the previous year and $0.03 ahead of estimates. Revenue increased to € 14.1 billion, beating expectations by € 0.8 billion.
- The Home Depot, Inc. (HD) Announces Third Quarter Results; HD reports third quarter GAAP EPS of $3.18, 26% better than the previous year and $0.15 ahead of estimates. Revenue increased 23.2% to $33.5 billion, beating expectations by $1.7 billion.

- Pfizer and BioNTech Conclude Phase 3 Study of COVID-19 Vaccine Candidate, Meeting All Primary Efficacy Endpoints; PFE along with BioNTech SE (BNTX), announces that it COVID-19 vaccine was 95% effective in preventing the transmission of the coronavirus. The late-stage trial consisted of more than 43,000 participants, with just eight cases of COVID-19 reported among the group receiving the two-dose vaccine.
- Target Corporation (TGT) Reports Third Quarter Earnings; TGT reports third quarter adjusted EPS of $2.79, an increase of 105% from last year and $1.18 above estimates. Revenue surged 21.2% to $22.6 billion, topping expectations by $1.9 billion. Comparable sales grew 20.7% compared to estimates of 11.2%.
- UGI Corporation (UGI) Reports Fiscal 2020 Results; UGI reports fourth quarter GAAP EPS of $0.05, which compares favorably to a loss of $0.10 in the previous year and was $0.34 higher than expected. Revenue declined 2.6% to $1.1 billion, which was $100 million lower than expected.
- Aflac Incorporated (AFL) Announces Increase in the First Quarter 2021 Dividend; AFL increases its quarterly dividend 17.9% to $0.33, giving the stock a forward yield of 3.1%. The dividend is payable March 1st, 2021 to shareholders of record at the close of business February 17, 2021. The company has increased its dividend for 39 consecutive years.

- Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (WSM) announces third quarter 2020 results; WSM reports third quarter adjusted EPS of $2.56, a 151% improvement from the previous year and $1.05 above expectations. Revenue grew 22.2% to $1.76 billion, which topped estimates by $170 million. Comparable sales surged 24.4% versus estimates of a 10.2% increase.

- UGI Corporation (UGI) Subsidiary Invests in Renewable Gas Project; UGI announced today that its subsidiary, UGI Energy Services, LLC, entered into definitive agreements to invest in New Energy One HoldCo LLC, which is part of the team developing a utility-scale renewable natural gas (“RNG”) project in Idaho.
