My Total dividends in June are € 841.28 ($ 915.11).
After tax payments, my net dividend income is € 623.87 ($ 678.51). In year 2016, my
net dividend income in June was € 1,154.38. My portfolio's net dividend
income decreased by 46% to compared the same month of last year. The main reason for the decrease in this amount of
dividends was last year the additional dividend paid by Shire/Baxalta. (Net € 707.80) When I take this into account, my dividend income
increased by approximately 40% compared to last year.
This month's dividend increased my cumulative net dividend income € 44,636.20.
My net dividend income YTD is € 7,007.39, so I have now
collected 63% of my target
net dividend income for this year, which is €11,200.00. Now that half of the year has already passed, it seems
that I will reach my goal easily. However, this is not quite true because in
the first half of the year my dividend income is much higher, due the Nordic
companies of my portfolio, which paid the annual dividend in April and May.
You can follow the development of my dividends here.
Full Disclosure: Long on above mentioned stocks.
Thanks for stopping by!
My net wage for the first half of the year is around 14 000€ working 8h/day and you get a passive income stream of 7000€ in the same time, nice job! :) Wish I could get an extra 7k in six months, would make investing into financial independence so much faster :D
ReplyDeleteMoi Vanha Kehno!
DeleteMy net salary is about €2k/month, when I work 8h/day, but pretty often I do some extra hours.
Cheers,

ReplyDeleteWhen adjusted, your dividend growth is insane. Very inspiring, you are straight up killing it Hawk, keep doing what you are doing.

Great job DH. Despite the decrease because of that special dividend from last year, this was still a good month for ya. I'm sure that you will reach your yearly goal. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great month, DH. Better than my June month was. Your april month really looks spectacular.
ReplyDeleteSomething I need to review if I want to add this to my portfolio. Never looked at Nordic companies for their dividend..maybe I should.
For the YTD Dividend Income you are ahead of me. But our July and October months will add up. So we will see where we can end up and maybe pass you..:-)) Keep on growing that nice graph ! I love it !
Congratulations on a very nice month, DH! Ignoring the Shire/Baxalta difference, your year over year increase of 40% is very impressive. Keep up the good work!
