  2. DH,

    Appreciate the mentions very much.

Worked for quite a few hours on the Buffett piece (and quite late at night as well). I hope a lot of people found value in it. :)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend over there!

    Cheers.

These days i,ve been notifyed in my broker account the next dividends from Avance Gas and Prosafe...

Specially Avance Gas is particullarly high, and trimestral....
Which is your opinion about this company now and the perspectives for sustain the div. ? Maybe you have any information to share.

Prosafe seems to have cut yield...

I,m thinking about reinvest in Avance or not...

    Very kind of you.

    1. Hi Preikestolen

This year, Avance Gas will pay great dividends, I am pleased if this year's dividend totaling $4. Next year, the dividend will be lower, if and when the new ships entering the market. In the future, the dividend will not grow.

Prosafe dividend cuts out at the end of last year, and is unlikely to raise it in the near future, possibly in the 2016 period, if at all. Much will depend on the development of oil prices.

These are no any information, just my assumptions!

      Thanks for stopping by!

  7. Thanks very much, DH.

You have a great and very interesting portfolio, leading you to Finance Independence.

You have a good mix with stocks from Norway, Denmark, Finland, UK and USA.

That point offers to you a great diversiffication an divide your risks.
I think is very interesting mix.

Usually every investor are more concentrated in his home market, with some adition of US stocks....
US investors concentrate in their own Big and great market....

But I think your diversification in countries is very good thing.

The industry of Liqued Gas for Avance is less risky now than oil industry, as prosafe case? Does affect oil prices also to Avance?
If they add new ships seems to have enough business charge, haven,t they?

Greetings and Go Ahead in your Great Work and Goals !!!!!
    Best wishes!

    1. Hi again, and thanks for your compliment!

You're right, Avance business is not as risky as the Prosafe's. Avance has become three new ships early this year and should become even five more. Competitors have also ordered new ships, this year should see 40 new ships, and next year 43. As a result, freight rates are likely to fall and waiting times will lengthen, and the dividend will also fall.

      Cheers
