My Total dividends in August are € 412.08 ($ 550.85). This year, Russia suddenly took a 30% withholding tax on dividends paid by Gazprom. Finland is likely to compensate me only a normal 15%, which is in accordance with the international tax agreement. It seems that the total tax rate for dividends paid by Gazprom will be comfortable 40.5%!
After all tax payments, my net dividend income is € 281.86. In year 2013, my net dividend income in August was € 110.49. My portfolio's net dividend income increased by 155% compared to last year in August.
This month's dividends increased my cumulative net dividend income € 14,293.93.
My total net
dividend income for this year are now € 5,310.70.
My goal is to
receive € 6.000 in net dividends for this year.

Hyvältä näyttää.
ReplyDeleteDH,
ReplyDeleteThat's a fantastic month right there!
That tax from Russia stings a bit, but I'm glad you can recoup some of it from your government. I'm usually able to recoup such payments, depending on the originating country.
You're having a great year. Looks like you'll easily exceed your goal. Keep it up!
Best regards.
Looking good. Keep grinding forward. Lil bit down but you should have a good Sept.
ReplyDeleteHello Hawk! Like your blog a lot! Thanks for your work. But I find it difficult to read white text on black background. I would spend a lot more time reading here if it was black on white...
ReplyDeleteAlso studies backs this:
"However, most studies have shown that dark characters on a light background are superior to light characters on a dark background (when the refresh rate is fairly high). For example, Bauer and Cavonius (1980) found that participants were 26% more accurate in reading text when they read it with dark characters on a light background."

"People with astigmatism (aproximately 50% of the population) find it harder to read white text on black than black text on white. Part of this has to do with light levels: with a bright display (white background) the iris closes a bit more, decreasing the effect of the "deformed" lens; with a dark display (black background) the iris opens to receive more light and the deformation of the lens creates a much fuzzier focus at the eye."
