What a great month and a fantastic progress, DH.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on all the dividend income!

Wowsers! Nice YOY improvement and if things continue per the chart, April looks to be a simply massive month considering your portfolio's growth!
ReplyDeleteHi W2R
DeleteApril is the best month for me in dividend income, because all of my portfolio Finnish companies pay annual dividends in April. The growth percentage is not going to be as awesome! :) For the past two years, I have acquired a mainly foreign ownership and reduced a little Finnish. (more diversification)

Well done DividendHawk, seems like you make great progress! Keep it up :)
ReplyDeleteWow, the last chart is just awesome! May I ask you one question: how are dividends taxed in Finland (home vs. foreign stock-dividends)? Do you have something like 401k in the US?
ReplyDeleteCheers,
DividElephant
Hallo DividElephant
DeleteI pay taxes on the dividends of 25.5%. The Finnish companies' dividends broker will charge this amount (25.5%) immediately. Dividends from foreign companies the broker charges a tax according the international tax agreement, for example 15% in the U.S. This difference (10.5%) I have to pay later, when I do the whole year fiscal report. We don't have nothing like 401k.

Congrats on a great month DH! I really like the charts you included, gives you an awesome picture of how great the dividend growth strategy really works.

ReplyDeleteWow...277% year-over-year gain is pretty awesome! Keep up the amazing progress.
ReplyDeleteHi
DeleteA large percentage increase is mainly due to the low baseline and new purchases.
Thanks for reading!
