Dividend Income - April 2025

The fourth month of the year is over, May is also past the halfway point and summer starts in a few weeks. In April 2025, the dividend yields of my portfolio were as follows:

In April 2025, my total dividend income amounted to €3,719.41 ($4,149.54). After taxes, my net dividend income came to €2,763.10 ($3,082.73). Compared to April 2024, when my net dividend income was €3,077.81 ($3,286.29), my portfolio’s net dividend income decreased by €314.71, representing a 10.23% year-over-year decline. This decline was primarily due to NESTE cutting its dividend.

In April 2025, my net dividend income totaled €2,763.10, which translates to an average of €92.10 per day and €3.84 per hour—earned passively, regardless of what I was doing.
For the first four months of the year, my cumulative averages stand at €74.93 per day and €3.12 per hour.

Compared to April 2024, my dividend income and portfolio have undergone several notable changes.
I added two new dividend paying ETFs - JEPI and JEPQ - and four new companies to my portfolio - AKTIA, TIETO, OZK and CNQ, while BAX and MPW was removed from the portfolio.
I also increased my holdings in JGPI, further strengthening my overall income stream.
Several of my current investments reported dividend increases—most notably AD, PEP and ITW —all of which had a positive impact on my overall income.
However, there were also dividend cuts from NESTE, KESKO, MPW, and AQN, which negatively affected my income.

This month’s dividend payments have brought my cumulative net dividend income to a total of €190,107.51.

Dividend Income 2025

With this month’s dividend income, I’ve now collected 36% of my target net passive income for 2025, which is €25,000.00. At the moment, it seems that I won't reach my target. The main factors contributing to this are the exchange rate fluctuations and the Neste dividend cut. These have had a significant impact on my overall income, making it more challenging to meet my goal.

Full Disclosure: Long on above mentioned stocks, except BAX and MPW
