On Monday, March 26, I sold 100 shares of HCP at $22.15
per share and bought 50 shares of Ventas Inc. at $ 47.95 per share plus
commission.
I've been thinking for quite some time that I will change
HCP's shares to another healthcare facilities REIT, and now I have done it.

Dividend income reported after the deduction of taxes.
That capital loss from HCP I'm able to reduce from my
capital gains in this year's tax report.
This sale 100 shares of HCP will reduce around € 90.00 of
my expected annual net dividend income.
My new Holding VTR is a Dividend Challengers with a 9
year streak of dividend increases. Dividend growth rates for 1, 3, 5 and 10
years are 5.1, 6.5, 7.6 and 6.5. (DividendChampions.xls)
Ventas, Inc. now pays dividends of $ 0.79 per share normally in March, June,
September and December although this year it seems that the schedule has been
changed in January, April, July and October.
With current quarterly dividend ($ 0.79), my last
purchase 50 shares of VTR increases € 95.34 ($ 117.71) of expected annual net
dividend income. At today's exchange rate, this purchase will increase my
portfolio projected annual net dividend income approximately to € 12,340.00.
After this acquisition, VTR's weight of my portfolio is about 0.53% and its
share of future annual dividend income is approximately 0.77%.
