Recent Buy - Unilever N.V. (UNA)

Yesterday on January 26, I Bought 30 shares of  Unilever N.V. at € 37.65 per share plus commission.

After Unilever reported 2016 full year results yesterday, the stock price of UNA fell over 4%.

I decided to take this opportunity and pressed the purchase button.

My overall cost basis of this position increases from 34.43 to 35.71 per share. I totally hold now 80 shares of UNA and my yield on cost is 3.38%. I bought my first UNA's shares in in September 2015, so now it was a good time to grab some more.

Details of my purchase:

With current quarterly dividend ( 0.3201), my last purchase 30 shares of UNA increases € 28.62 ($ 30.62) of expected annual net dividend income. At today's exchange rate, this purchase will increase my portfolio projected annual net dividend income approximately to € 10,140.00. After this acquisition, UNA's weight of my portfolio is about 0.8% and its share of future annual dividend income is approximately 0.7%. My purpose is to slowly acquire more shares of UNA, if the price remains at these levels.

  1. We seem to be buying a lot of the same companies this month, only you buy more shares :). I bought 13 shares of UNA yesterday for exactly the same price.

BTW, do you calculate your yield on cost with the net or the gros dividend?

    1. HI DD, yeah I have noticed that :) Yield on cost is calculated with gros dividend.
