Dividend Income - September 2015

Again, one month passed and it is time to report my dividend income. In June 2015 my portfolio dividend income was as follows:

Quarterly dividends received from:

Intel Corporation (INTC) - €84.85 ($96.00)
Pfizer Inc. (PFE) - €49.76 ($56.00)
ConocoPhillips (COP) - €19.62 ($22.20)
Prosafe SE (PRS.OL) - €38.91 ($43.20)
Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) - €26.78 ($30.00)
Avance Gas Holding Ltd (AVANCE.OL) - €428.73 ($480.00)
Emerson Electric Co. (EMR) - €16.67 ($18.80)
Chevron Corporation (CVX) - €56.67 ($64.20)
Target Corporation (TGT) - €49.43 ($56.00)
McDonald's Corporation (MCD) - €12.50 ($16.20)
Ensco plc (ESV) - €20.70 ($23.25)
TAL International Group Inc. (TAL) - €64.43 ($72.00)
Golar LNG (GLNG) - €90.15 ($101.25)
T. Rowe Price Group Inc. (TROW) - €11.56 ($13.00)
Digital Realty Trust Inc. (DLR) - €90.01 ($102.00)

Monthly dividends received from:

Global X SuperDividend ETF (SDIV) - €64.43 ($72.30)
Inter Pipeline Ltd. (IPL.TO) - €8.21 ($9.25)

My Total dividends in September are € 1134.41 ($1275.45). After tax payments, net dividend income is € 842.24 ($946.96). In year 2014, my net dividend income in September was € 493.30. My portfolio's net dividend income increased by 70% compared to last year in September. The main reason for the large increase in dividends in September was that the Avance changed its fiscal year end of last year and this is due to the payment of dividends changed from October to September.

This month's dividend increased my cumulative net dividend income € 25320.79.

My net dividend income YTD is € 9033.68, so now I have crossed my target net dividend income for this year, which was €8700. As I mentioned in my August report, this year I will probably reach the € 11k limit of a net dividend income.

  1. I read somewhere that millions of people are still living with less than $1.90/day. It's crazy to think that your 1 month of income can last 500 days of a person living in poverty. $1000 is living wage, as long as you don't worry about shelter, $1000 can go a long way. It's great to see someone crossing $1000 limit. Keep it up, bro. Keep inspire us all.

    1. Hi Vivianne and thanks. It is true that the world has a lot of poverty and, unfortunately, wealth is distributed very unevenly. I will try my best and I will continue towards my goals, financial independence.

      Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Very nice Hawk! Fantastic year over year growth and a very solid stream of dividend income. I'll be curious about your response to Vivianne, above. You do seem like a potential candidate for geographic arbitrage.

    I hope you're having a great week
