Today on 20th August I added 35 shares of Bank Of Nova Scotia (BNS) at CA$58.88 per share plus commission (CA$5.00). With current quarterly dividend (CA$0.68), my last purchase 35 shares of BNS increases €48.35 (CA$70.92) of expected annual dividend net income. Awesome purchase Hawk. Love the company. Quality long term hold. Keep it up bud. Can't go wrong with the Canadian banks here. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteI've owned BNS for many years; been very, very good to me. Hope / expect that to continue.
ReplyDeleteMe too! Just bought 43 shares @CA$58.99 (total of 73 shares) and will keep adding if the price slides...
ReplyDeleteGreat buy Hawk. We just picked up our first shares in BNS recently as well! Cheers to growing that passive income stream one stock purchase at a time.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes and continued success on your journey! AFFJ
That was a low commission. What broker do you use?
ReplyDeleteBR,
Frihetsfonden
Hi Frihetsfonden. Nowadays I use LYNX to the North American markets. (https://www.lynxbroker.de/) Everything has worked very well, only in currency exchange I think is expensive.

Ok maybe I should take a look at them, I've been looking for a less expensive broker. I use Nordnet now and expect them to reduce the courtage but it seems to be in vain...
