Nordic companies in the portfolio, Dividend Proposals, Week 5, 2018




The reporting period is in full swing and the Nordic companies in my portfolio will continue to publish their year-end report and dividend proposals. Here is a brief summary of week 5 announcements and their impact on my dividend income.


UPM-Kymmene Corporation:


The Board of Directors proposes to the Annual General Meeting convening on 5 April 2018 that a dividend of EUR 1.15 per share be paid in respect of the 2017 financial year (0.95). The proposed dividend represents 39% of UPM’s operating cash flow per share for the year 2017. It is proposed that the dividend be paid on 19 April 2018.

According to the Friday's share price € 27.82, the current dividend yield is 4.13 %.

Dividend increase by 21.05%, my net dividend income will increase by € 163.90 ($ 204.72).


Kesko Corporation:


The Board of Directors proposes to the Annual General Meeting to be held on 11 April 2018 that a dividend of €2.20 (€2.00) per share be paid on shares held outside the Company at the date of dividend distribution.

According to the Friday's share price € 46.49, the current dividend yield is 4.73 %.

Dividend increase by 10.0%, doesn't affect my dividend income because of the new position in my portfolio.


Tele2 AB:

 
For the financial year 2017, the Board of Tele2 AB has decided to recommend an ordinary dividend payment of SEK 4.00 (5.23) per ordinary A and B share to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in May 2018

According to the Friday's share price SEK 97.78, the current dividend yield is 4.09 %.

Dividend cut by 23.52%, my net dividend income will decrease by € 21.01 ($ 26.24).


Bonava AB:


The Board of Directors proposes a dividend of SEK 5.20 (3.80) per share.

According to the Friday's share price SEK 118.30, the current dividend yield is 4.40 %.

Dividend increase by 36.84%, my net dividend income will increase by € 31.88 ($ 39.83).


Fortum Corporation:


The Board of Directors proposes to the Annual General Meeting that a dividend of EUR 1.10 (1.10) per share be paid for 2017.

According to the Friday's share price € 17.70, the current dividend yield is 6.21 %.

The dividend remains at the same level, doesn’t affect my dividend income.
