Dividend Increase – The Coca-Cola Company (KO)

Yesterday the Board of Directors of The Coca-Cola Company announced a quarterly dividend increase of from $0.33 to $0.35 per share that’s payable April 1, 2016 to holders of record March 15, 2015. This represents a 6.06% increase to regular quarterly dividends and this is the 54th consecutive year that KO has increased its dividend per share. With current price $43.61 (yesterday's close), this raise brings their dividend yield to 3.21%.

Since I own 150 shares, this will increase my portfolio's projected annual net dividend income by $8.94.

That increase rises my YOC to 3.74%.

  1. I was happy to get another raise from KO to go along with my 7% raise from Pepsi! Both great companies and long term holds.
