  1. The Market seems to have disliked the news from NCC, but in the long run, couldn't this be a great deal? I happen to think so anyway.

  2. I wonder what you think about NCC and the distribution of NCC Housing instead of cash?

    1. Hi Leif and Ano

Yeah, it seems that the market was not very satisfied with the recent news. I would personally prefer taking in cash dividends, as the new company's shares. I also do not like the new dividend policy.

  3. Heij!

Any thoughts on Avance Gas Holding Ltd?
I mean numbers looks good, but why haven't the stock reacted ? Is it just this "oil crisis". Just wondering since you have been owning it quite a while now. So if you got some awesome insider info, please share! :)

    cheers.

The share price remains low, due to new transport capacity is forecast to be on the market within the next two years. In addition, the economic development of the world has been slower than expected, so that commodity prices remain low. It is likely that Avance’s dividend is lower in the year 2016. However, I’m satisfied, if I receive $ 4.0 dividend next year and $ 1.40 in Q4 2015. That's all inside information that I have! 

      Thanks for visiting!

  7. DivHawk,

Great articles. Pfizer had huge news, obviously. I wonder what impact that announcement will have on the upcoming dividend increase they are "typically" to have in December. Thoughts? Thanks for writing this review summary!

    1. Hi Lanny and thanks. Yeah Pfizer finally found a partner and the opportunity to move to the Irland. I'm not sure if this is a good deal, if I understand correctly, Pfizer will be divided once again by 2018. Hopefully, lifting the dividend declaration will come next month in spite of the merger. 2-cent increase in the quarterly dividend would be a very nice thing.

  9. DivHawk,
    Great portfolio and good blog.
I'm a small Spanish investor. In your opinion, is it a good moment to buy Fortum?

    1. Hi, thank you!
The Finnish state is the largest owner of Fortum, more than 50%, so the company includes a high political risk. In the past year, Fortum sold its electricity distribution business network in the Nordic countries, so it is now full of cash. Over the past few years, Fortum has invested heavily in Russia, now the ruble has weakened sharply, so it seems that at least the foreign exchange risk is realized, time will show how will those political risk be in future. I suppose, however, the dividend remains at the same level in the next two years, but the future growth will depend on how Fortum will invest the money in the cash register.
